Dark, dry and sweet, Taklamakan feels like the sand: it starts with smoky vanilla, caramel, spiced
patchouli, and balsamic resins and ambergris.
Like the hot and dry desert winds that blow, it brings from the ancient Spice Route smells like
incense and opoponax, as well as woods such as Chinese cedar, birch, cade, and guaiac. The middle
notes include dusty and sweet myrrh, sandalwood, tonka beans, labdanum, and a drop of dry rose.
In its drydown, Taklamakan becomes a comforting dream of golden amber, dry woods, velvety
resins, and soft spiciness.
Lasting:
Very long lasting, up to 12 hours, with 2 to 3 sprays
