Blake's Tyger embodies both of the qualities I wanted to portray: luxurious and irresistibly attractive on one side and outrageous and intimidating on the other. The "scary symmetry" - the character aptly attributed to the tiger, represents this opposition to beautiful perfection and horror. The fragrance is built around a sweet-sided narcotic white floral accord, which also includes an essence of tuberose – like prima donna, the protagonist of a dramatic piece, it is the best example of the refined civilization of a bygone world; In contrast, the base notes present a different kind of wood, with some burnt and leathery qualities, alluding to a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery and darkness.
